How does it work?

Screen Printing

Screen printing is a process that involves pushing ink through a woven mesh stencil onto fabric. The stencil opening creates the space through which the ink will go to create the design. The ink is then pushed over the mesh, pulled by a fill blade or squeegee. As the blade is pulled, the ink is pushed through the mesh, onto the garment.

Things you should know about screen printing

With screen printing, only one color can be applied at a time. Therefore, the number of colors on a t-shirt is limited, and each color requires more time, another screen and stencil, and ultimately, more money. That’s why screen printing is a good choice for simple designs with one solid color, and when you’re making many t-shirts of the same design at a time (eg. for a sports team, summer camp, or event).

Embroidery is an age-old process of weaving a design onto fabric using a thread and needle. Today, instead of someone actually sewing a design by hand, a digital file is created that tells a machine how and where to put each stitch. Embroidery works best with simple, low color count logos or artwork. Photographs and artwork with fine detail or small lettering usually can not be embroidered. We’ll be sure to contact you if this is the case and recommend ways we can alter your design or suggest other alternatives.

Direct to Garment

Images with vivid imagery and high levels of detail require a special process. Digital printing allows us to transfer your work directly from the computer and
onto your merchandise using cutting edge printing machinery and inks. We recommend this process for designs that are too complex for traditional screen printing.

Currently we only print on 100% ring-spun cotton t-shirts and have select brands that we work with. You can email us at INSERT EMAIL ADDRESS and we can send you our catalog containing colors and brands. Customers cannot supply their own garments for this print service.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have a set up fee?

yes and no, we don’t charge a set up fee for white shirts, but we do for colored light colored or black garments.

Do you print on black garments?

Yes, we use a special Eco compound spray to cover your light colored and/or dark garments. Without this step, our water based inks will not adhere to the garment properly. Once applied, the spray dissipates into the garment taking up to 24 hours to dry and then the shirt is print ready.

Is there a minimum order?

We have no minimum order of 6 pieces.

Heat Transfer Vinyl

Need a quick design printed up? Are you looking to print a logo with basic shapes or text-based designs? With vinyl, there is no minimum and it is a perfect alternative to screen printing if you need only a few pieces done. Vinyl produces a clean product that provides amazing color saturation and can be applied onto 100% cotton, cotton polyblends and synthetic material.

We use a vinyl cutter to cut the shape of your design out of one of our high quality,
durable rolls of themaflex vinyl. Then peel away the left over bitsand apply it to your shirt
and administer pressurized heat . Vinyl can be applied to all kinds
of products; poyester jerseys, gym bags, totes, and we can do window signage as well.
